Imperial College Rugby is excited to announce the extension of our
sponsorship contract with Green Giraffe for the 2017/18 season!
After the achievements of our first two seasons together and their
backing of our tour to Paris and the City Varsity, we are very pleased that
Green Giraffe is continuing their support into a third year!

Green Giraffe is a specialist financial advisory focused
entirely on the renewable energy sector. The company has grown from the handful
of founders in 2010 to over sixty employees. Working in all renewable
technologies, with headquarters in Paris and Utrecht, and offices in London and
Hamburg, the company has raised over EUR 12 billion for renewable energy
projects and has worked in 18 countries across 5 continents. Green Giraffe
have had a successful 2017 so far, topping the inspiratia Q2 2017 league tables
for renewables advisory with over USD 2.4 billion of transactions, and are on
track to open their new office in Cape Town at the end of 2017.

With six Imperial alumni working at Green Giraffe, and
having previously recruited from the rugby club, there is a strong
link between the company and the university. Former CGCU Rugby
Captain Matt Taylor, Director of the Green Giraffe London office, said “It is
great to have again renewed our sponsorship of Imperial College Rugby and we
will enjoy supporting the students throughout the season. Last season we were
very impressed with the level of professionalism from the club committee and
loved watching them play in Paris and at the City Varsity. Our Dutch team are
looking forward to seeing them take on more international opposition in
Amsterdam this year! Good luck for the season.”

Imperial College Rugby is looking forward to a third year
with Green Giraffe’s backing. We hope that their continued support of our Club
can yield even more benefits on and off the field in a season full of big plans
- tours to Amsterdam and California, and the City Varsity Round Two!
