ICURFC is one of the best loved and supported clubs at Imperial, with over 80 members ICURFC is one of the largest sports clubs at Imperial. The club hosts bi-yearly tours, the last going to South Africa and the next going to California in the USA. In addition to this, the club also embarks on yearly Mini-tours, with the latest trip going to Amsterdam. The inaugural event for the City Varsity took place in 2017,and we hope this event is the first of what becomes a long-standing Varsity between Imperial College and LSE across multiple sports.
Alongside ICURFC, Imperial has it’s own women’s rugby team that is coming off a highly successful season. There is also a rugby league club. Please visit their respective websites for more information:
Additionally, each of Imperial’s constituent colleges run their own clubs. The activity of these clubs vary between playing a few traditional fixtures per year to running several teams in the BUCS leagues every week. Almost exclusively, students of the Royal College of Science (RCS), City and Guilds College (CGC) and Royal School of Mines (RSM) play for the ICURFC teams as well as their own college’s. Students in the Imperial College School of Medicine (ICSM) usually only play for the Medic’s teams.
